That said, I was dreading the idea of being induced myself. Given my experience with working with anti-natural coworkers, I was afraid the nurses at my new hospital would be the same. Even though my birth went awry, I am not unhappy with it. The nurses exceeded my low expectations. My midwife respected my wishes. And my doula was a lifesaver. Yours sounds the same. Even with Pit running, I didn't need help coping until they maxed it. Would the doc consider foley bulb induction? Mine took me from where you are now to 5 cm and 75%. I myself wouldn't consent to Cytotec- Ina May campaigns strongly against it. Cervidil is the better choice IMHO.MrsSpockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10792687516201324640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6193753530280373065.post-4750336717473919992008-06-20T05:52:00.000-07:002008-06-20T05:52:00.000-07:00great news kami -- really good that you spoke with...great news kami -- really good that you spoke with the doc about everything -- our doula did the same for us -- helping us understand what might happen the big picture which made asking questions and understanding andwers that much easier. <BR/>your doula can really protect your space if you do end up going to the hospital. that said i'm keeping fingers and toes crossed that you'll be able to have the home birth you'd like to have.stacybhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15287587962566164235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6193753530280373065.post-90911774948232036562008-06-20T05:30:00.000-07:002008-06-20T05:30:00.000-07:00I'm pretty sure that means progress. :)I'm pretty sure that means progress. :)Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07923049494756911105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6193753530280373065.post-41129739514678136812008-06-20T03:02:00.000-07:002008-06-20T03:02:00.000-07:00Good that you were able to get more information --...Good that you were able to get more information -- even though I'm hoping it'll all be irrelevant soon.niobehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10685766216611639434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6193753530280373065.post-36408067057014678492008-06-20T02:21:00.000-07:002008-06-20T02:21:00.000-07:00Fingers crossed that all goes well and that the in...Fingers crossed that all goes well and that the induction talk is just that - a talk.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6193753530280373065.post-43935030889299629822008-06-19T19:44:00.000-07:002008-06-19T19:44:00.000-07:00Hoping for a Non-induced labor!!!
