Waiting for the call

Today is transfer day if LB's 'dish-mate' survives the thaw. I should know in less than 30 minutes. Once again my thoughts turn to those ladies and couples still trying to have even one live baby to parent as I remember how much harder this wait was before LB.

The call came in after 40 minutes . . . why do they make us wait?

The news:

We have a live embryo! Transfer at 10!

WOW! that really snuck up on me! I guess this is the "not getting to hung up on it" aspect of this cycle. Ok, I'll check back--I assume you'll update?

Kami - how wonderful! Great, great news! You may not have to do that fresh cycle after all and then you can blow that money on an awesome vacation and add to the college fund and a new car (you can see I know how expensive a fresh DE cycle is!) :)

I'm sure you're comfy and snuggled in about now. Rest up and drink lots of water.

Crossing my fingers for you!

Yee-hah! And I hope that "dish-mate" turns out to be a word that stays around in your family lore for a long time. Sounds cozy!
