A little bit sad

I had my cd3 b/w today. This is the appointment where I would get the call to start gonal-f. Oh such excitement! I couldn't wait until 7 pm when I could take my first shot. That would start twice daily shots and every-other-day appointments. I loved those shots. I LOVED those appointments. I was doing something.

Not so this time around. This time instead of starting twice daily shots of FSH, I will be taking twice daily pills of estrace. I don't go in for another four days. I miss seeing my RE every other day. Sometimes I wish things were different.

Sorry you are a little bummed out...but you ARE doing something its just not the same old something you have done over and over.

It is a bit bitter sweet isn't it...just wait...in 9 months when you are holding your twins, or singleton then this will be all a distant memory!

Both well said by Meg and Sully - you definately are doing something, it is just a different something

Oooh, Kami. Sorry it's not going the way you envisioned.

But trust. Someday you'll look back and see it could be no other way.

Happy relaxing.

Isn't it crazy that we could somehow get misty over the absence of the horrible shots and pills? But I know what you mean.

I really identified with one of your older posts where you felt like you had been "benched" from the game. I think that today's feeling is somewhat of an extension of those thoughts.

I'm confident you will work through these feelings and am counting the days until I can wish you a hearty congratulations on your BFP. I so truly wish this for you.

I just wanted to let you know I answered you, the best I could, in your comment to me. Thanks for taking the time to air out your questions.

I also wanted to tell you "good luck" yourself and I'm sorry that this appointment made you miss the appointments in the past. But like everyone said, you are doing something, so I hope you can find some peace as it progresses.

I so appreciate your desire to be in the thick of the action. I hope and pray that you'll be there VERY soon.

Yes, it always feels better to be doing something as time consuming, needle involving and invasive as possible. *Then* it really feels like it might work :)
